The animals are our brothers and sisters. What are we without the animals? All things are connected... Chief Seattle 1855
Having to say good bye to our beloved horses is a very emotional time. I have counseled many as well as attended those final moments with friends, owners and clients with their horses and dogs. I am honored to stand in that place with you to send them off with a blessing from a Native American perspective.
Emily and Chief
Chief was a very special part of our family for many years and when it was time to say goodbye it was one of the hardest things we’ve ever done. We knew his time was near but it came quicker than we expected and Geri came as soon as we contacted her. Being able to honor Chief’s crossing with Geri’s ceremony made our last moments with our boy unparalleled. The sunset that evening manifested his beauty and the stars shown as bright as his persona and the love we shared. This confirmed we had made the right decision for him and we are beyond grateful for everything Geri did for us that evening.
Meisha (& Kasha- not pictured)
Meisha had DSLD in advanced stage and Kasha's hocks were fused. They crossed over together on a beautiful morning among caring human friends.
